10th Christchurch (Mudeford) Sea Scouts

Who are we?

We are The Sea Scout Group of Christchurch with our HQ on the edge of Stanpit Marsh and close to Christchurch Harbour. We are run by an Adult Team of volunteers and Young Leaders and we get support from parents and around our community

The Group is led by the Group Lead Volunteer and the Chair of the Trustees. There is a full leadership team and an active Trustee Board who all contribute to making scouting happen in Mudeford Scouting.

 The Group is popular among parents and young people and one of our biggest current problems is that we are full in Squirrels Beavers, Cubs and Scouts. We also have an affiliated Explorer Unit, so we provide Scouting from 4 – 18 years. We now have two Beaver colonies, Cub Packs and Scout Troops.

Our group is a charity in its own right (registered charity no. 302217), although governed by the Scout Association. The Scout Association sets policies and rules, insures all its members, and supports scouting.
